The Last Season at Sea Dip

Family Owned Since 1971

Sea Dip has been run for generations by the Hatley family, a mom-and-pop motel that became a fixture of the Myrtle Beach strand.

A Local Landmark

Its diving swimmer "Color TV" sign has watched over the beach for decades, one of the last of its kind still standing.

Old Meets New

Sea Dip is clearing the way for a 400-unit Drury Hotels development, the next chapter for this stretch of oceanfront.

Before demolition can even begin, crews have to clear and strip the interiors floor by floor.
